Episode 2 - The First Step is a Doozy

Prologue

When we last saw our time shifted adventurers and their new companion, Simmah, they had just finished delivering a set of messages from the Asps to Pounce, the guild master of the Pawns at the Grey Pause Tavern and Inn. Pounce has setup a meeting in Fairport for the crew and got them approved for diplomatic missions in the Free Cities of Mionia.

Scene 1 - Waking Up at the Grey Pause

After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast the band is ready to take the world head on, or at least the day. The barmaid left a small note on the table after cleaning it off.

It reads:

See the diplomatic missions office in the Merchants Association. There's a few choice jobs there.

Scene 2 - Adventurer's Guild at the Merchants Association

The Merchants Association building is bustling with well armed individuals. A rotund human male dressed in expensive robes sits behind a large desk with a sign that reads "Information and Diplomatic Missions".

We have two diplomatic missions available. One is a courier to Port Olivia the other is escorting an ambassador to Aithessi.

  • Find lost trade caravan from Tundorn

Take the hallway to the left and Ambassador Queus is waiting in the third room on the right.

Scene 3 - Meeting the Ambassador

This room seems to be a sort of temporary office for various officials heading to other cities.

The first week of travel is uneventful
