Atlantic Risk Management

ARM is the security and enforcement corp. The insurance-adjacent naming hides what they actually do: paramilitary contract work, prisons (operating under the brand Reform), and the contracts that turned police into private business. The Sentinels — the white-armored street cops on every corner — are ARM employees.

Role in the world

ARM is the law in the Beltway — or the part of it you can see. The white-armored Sentinels on every corner are ARM employees; the Reform prisons are ARM-run; the contracts that turned policing into private business are ARM's. What it doesn't already hold, it means to absorb — the competing contractors, and any corner of order it doesn't yet sell.

ARM's current push is a show of force: crush the next Roots protest as a public example. The Lavender Troupe's performance arc is the likely flashpoint.

Public faces

• Vance ("Ironclad") — senior ARM commander managing the Beltway operation; careerist, pragmatic to a fault, treats social unrest as a logistical variable to be suppressed.

Tracers are technically independent of ARM but logistically housed by them, which is why the two get mistaken for each other on the street.

Allies and friction

Where they operate

ARM patrol vehicles, neighborhood Secured by ARM signage, and contractor patches. Sentinel uniforms: white reinforced armor. Reform facilities are jointly administered with Hopkins but the boots and the warrants are ARM's.
